I'm Jennifer Racca, an attorney based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My professional philosophy revolves around providing exceptional legal service to the families I represent. Throughout my career, I have obtained a diverse and unique scope of knowledge from various roles and domains focused around courtroom litigation and public service. I proudly serve as District 12 Metro Council member in East Baton Rouge Parish, our state's capital city.  

I own and operate The Insurance Group of Louisiana, LLC as a Health Benefits Consultant and Compliance Attorney, focusing on intricate health benefits compliance issues. As a health benefits consultant, I have provided multiple public and private entities assistance in designing their employee benefits packages. I co-broker with multiple brokerage firms.

Operating Jen Racca Law, LLC, has given me extensive exposure to criminal defense, family law, civil defense, and foreclosure proceedings. I've advocated in courtrooms, handling a diverse spectrum of cases from DWIs to homicides. Family and domestic cases keep our firm busy and we zealously represent the families that hire us.

During my time at the East Baton Rouge Parish Attorney's Office, I managed criminal cases as an assistant city prosecutor and conducted contract reviews to safeguard the legal interests of the parish as an assistant parish attorney. At the 19th Judicial District Public Defenders' Office, I successfully managed complex felony cases, achieving favorable outcomes through meticulous representation. My tenure at Butler & Hosch involved handling disputed foreclosure cases across Louisiana, honing my expertise in foreclosure proceedings and related civil legal matters. At Steven J. Moore, LLC, I gained valuable experience in criminal law, personal injury cases, and litigation, receiving a strong foundation for my legal career. I also contributed as an Instructor at Baton Rouge College, guiding aspiring paralegals through legal education and career development.

My academic journey includes obtaining a Juris Doctorate in Law from Southern University Law Center, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science and Government from Louisiana State University, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Paralegal Studies from McNeese State University.
